Kids on First is entering into their inaugural season of baseball play and we are excited for you to join us! While we are waiting for the season to start and registration to open, below is some information for your review. Since we are a new organizaton, we will be starting with one team per age group unless interest is overwhelming.
We are not travel baseball, we will be competing against other teams, but we will be competing against other RBI teams and also focusing on player development and individual growth. We are so excited you found us and can't wait for you to joinus on the field.

Kids on First Inaugural Spring Baseball Season
Kids on First Foundation is an affiliate of MLB Nike RBI (Revitalizing Baseball in Inner Cities) program to help promote baseball in underprivileged areas. Our goal is to continue to grow baseball in the Petersburg/Tri-City area through competitive play for specific ages.
This is an alternative to City Rec Ball and has different advantages from being eligible for USA Baseball Dream Series, Hank Aaron Invitational, Break Through Series, MLB Develops, Camps, special events and off the field, RBI Scholarships and Internships for secondary education.
Our goal not only wants to see your child succeed on the field, but also off the field with access to not only camps and tournaments, but also player development and recovery. Kids on First works with the Backyard Baseball Labs and local coaches to provide off the field player development and arm maintenance and Defy Cryotherapy for player recovery through Cryotherapy at deep discounts (or through scholarships).
Our season starts on May 17th and we will play 14 games through July 11th. The Junior(13-15) and Senior(16-18) level teams have an opportunity to play competitively for a chance to go to the regional tournaments and then the nationals based on the outcome of the season.
Eligibility:

Must be 10, 13, or 16 by May 1st, 2024 for tournament play (otherwise by March 1, 2024)
